Alma Busby-Williams is a native of Oakland, California. She received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University, and her Juris Doctor from New College of California. She has over 20 years of management experience with community action agencies, and began training as a Cultural Competency Trainer for Head Start. She has facilitated Cultural Competency trainings for a variety of organizations, and focuses on practical strategies for improving services for families and clients. Alma is a Certified Community Action Manager who is passionate about social justice, and assisting organizations in integrating social justice into their programs. As a Trainer and Consultant, she believes her most important role is facilitating the difficult, but vital discussions.
