Today! Women Of Color Healing Retreats will be hosting a free workshop on Veganism for Black Women. The workshop will be taught by Celebrity Chef, Chef Ahki.With everything going on in the world, we will also have a guided group meditation to recenter ourselves. Our workshops are usually exclusively for members of our monthly membership, but today, we're allowing you to join in!
Chef Ahki is a celebrity chef, natural food activists, and resident vegan chef at The Wendy Williams Show. You can also find her teaching celebrities like Nick Cannon and others about the importance of food. She received a Bachelor’s degree in naturopathic science and holistic theology. As a black native, Chef Ahki has always been intrigued by the healing power of herbs and eastern traditional medicine. Chef Ahki has also studied under guru Dr. Sebi. She is the author of Electric – A Modern Guide to Non-Hybrid & Wild Foods and The Fibroid Elimination Recipe Cookbook. She teaches that humans are electrical and need electrical foods for optimum health.
Veganism for Black Women workshop will highlight:
▫️The importance of Black Women transitioning into a vegan lifestyle.
▫️History of Food for Black Women.
▫️Implementing more Plant-Based Food into your daily lives.
▫️The ways Food can be used as medicine for menstrual cramps, fibroids, and the reproduction system, and how to overall take care of our health and wellness.
Please bring a journal/pad to take notes, a pen, and find a quiet place in your home for our group meditation.
