LeAndra Williams is a 29 year old full time student in Louisville, Kentucky. Currently a senior attending Spalding University, majoring in Social Work; with a minor in Addiction Studies. Growing up, LeAndra noticed the disparities between how non-people of color were living, This ultimately led LeAndra to ask multiple questions that continued to be shut down by society and even her peers at times. Not realizing at the time that we were all conditioned and "used" to being treated inferior to those who weren't Black or Brown. Noticing the lack of healing and resources in the Black community, LeAndra made it her mission to research the history of black people and uncover ways to alleviate our community's struggles.Leandra does this by not only practicing self-care and self-healing, but by also passing her knowledge onto others; in order to free themselves of their own emotional pain and trauma. Leandra is a voice, for those who were once voiceless.
